CD's are labeled with a thermal transfer printer that can print text and graphics at 300 dots per inch (dpi). Danex does not require CD media with a special coating in order to thermal print. In fact, we cannot print on "printable media". Instead, we are able to produce custom labels with features such as radius printing, true-type fonts and circles. We can also import and print the following Windows based graphic files:
Any design must still fall within the standard CD printing specifications. For those customers who require serialization or variable data printing, we can import delimited text files and/or serialize to specifications. After applying the label, the product is packaged.
